How credits work
Your membership unlocks the tools; credits meter the expensive part — AI-heavy operations like a Diagnose case, a tune starting point, a design generation, or a receipt scan. Everyday use of the suite doesn't touch them. Design generations cost credits and also count against a daily ceiling — 20 on Ryu, 60 on Kami — which is a limit on how many can run in a day, never a free allowance.
Credits come in packs starting at $20 for 200 credits — about 10¢ each. Pack credits never expire. Kami's 75 monthly credits don't reset — unused ones carry over, up to a balance of 900, for as long as the subscription runs. Packs are on the billing page once you're on a paid tier.

Do credits expire?
Credits you buy in packs never expire — they're yours, subscription or not. Kami's 75 included credits arrive each month and carry over unused, up to a 900-credit balance, while your Kami subscription is active — they're forfeited if you cancel. Promotional bonus credits on the largest packs expire three months after purchase, clearly shown when you buy.
Does Ryu include monthly credits?
No — Ryu is access: it opens the AI tools and the paid half of SceneX and PitX, and you buy credit packs only when you actually run AI-heavy operations. Kami is the tier that includes 75 credits every month, plus priority processing.
Can I pay monthly instead of yearly?
Yes. Yearly is the default and best rate — $12/year for Ryu (~$1/mo effective) and $60/year for Kami (~$5/mo effective). Monthly billing is $2.99/month and $8.99/month respectively.
